The Victoria Regia is a comfortable, modern hotel about ten minutes from the center of town. Popular with tourists as well as business travelers, it's the place to stay if you want to be sure the air conditioning works. There is also a pool and courtyard, and a restaurant on the premises. The rooms are large and pleasant. According to the web site, it is the only place in all of Iquitos to get a cappuchino, a serious consideration for caffeine addicts.
