Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is a relatively new activity in Peru. The trips range from onesthose within the Manu area, to those that go from Cusco to Manu. A popular route is from Tres Cruces to La Unión. In general only experienced bikers should consider this trip, since the terrain can be very rough. Most of the lodges in the areas offer bicycle equipment rentals for short treks around the area. Pricing on rentals is usually $40-$50.
