Amazonia Lodge is located in the tropical rainforest lowlands of the Manu Biosphere Reserve. Before, in the 1980s, the lodge was the home of a tea plantation. The lodge contains 15 rooms, each with two beds. There are eight bathrooms with toilets and hot-water showers. The lodge also holds a dining area. Amazonia Lodge is said to be excellent for bird watching. Its website contains an extensive list of more than 600 birds seen in the area, in addition to eight species of monkeys. The price of a room includes all meals. Private transportation can be arranged to the lodge.
