Amazonia Lodge is located in the tropical rainforest lowlands of the Manu Biosphere Reserve. Before, in the 1980s, the lodge was the home of a tea plantation. The lodge contains 15 rooms, each with two beds. There are eight bathrooms with toilets and hot-water showers. The lodge also holds a dining area. Amazonia Lodge is said to be excellent for bird watching. Its Web site contains an extensive list of birds seen in the area. The price of a room includes all meals. Private transportation can be arranged to the lodge.
