The Cock of the Rock Lodge, located in the Kosñipata Valley of southeastern Peru, is named for its large displays of Peru's national bird: the Cock of the Rock. It is located with the Manu cloud forest, which is relatively cool and mosquito free. The lodge has ten double-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, screened windows and mosquito nets, and a private balcony to take in the amazing views. Meals at the lodge are served in a screened dining room. Vegetarian and other special diet foods can be provided upon request.

Getting There:
The Cock of the Rock Lodge is a 110-mile car ride from Cusco which takes from 6 to 8 hours. The views along the road are amazing, so many prefer that the car ride last longer in order to fully enjoy the sights.

Price Description:For three days and two nights it costs $475 per person for two to four people and $399 for five people and up. There is also a single supplement of $100. There is a minimum of two persons per stay.
