Located in one of the best hotels in Puerto Maldonado, this restaurant offers a great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of pastries, exotic tropical fruit, sausages and cheeses, among other items. Its lunch and dinner offerings are more standard but well-prepared Peruvian and international fare, such as grilled steak, steamed trout and curried chicken. It also offers some vegetarian dishes. The price for most items averages at a very reasonable five dollars. Don’t be put off by the hotel’s exterior or the dirt road leading up to the entrance; once you get in it is really an upscale environment.
