Karambola Disco Pub

The Karambola is the newest and best dance club in Puerto Maldonado, which also happens to be an excellent restaurant and tavern. This modern, air-conditioned club claims to have “the best DJ in town,” and offers prizes for the “most animated” couple and discounts for university students. Other contests include a battle of the sexes strip contest, in which a pair of male and female strippers compete for a prize doled out by the voting club members. The music starts pumping at 10:00 p.m., and the party lasts until the last dancer drops.
