Huacachina Oasis Things to See and Do
The age-long favorite activity in Huacachina is soaking in the lagoon’s medicinal waters. To tread around the palm-shaded pool, rent a row or paddle boats ($3.75). In recent years, this hamlet has become famous for its desert sports, especially sand boarding and dune buggying. Another favorite activity is to climb the dunes to watch the sun set. On the north side of the laguna is the Biblioteca Pública (public library). Otherwise, there is not much to do in Huacachina except to relax.
