Huacachina Oasis, Peru
Boating
Only 6 kilometers from Ica, Huacachina Lake is a popular attraction. A true oasis, it is a green spot in a sea of sand. The area around the lake is known for dune buggy trips and sandboarding. It is possible to swim and boat in the lake, as well. Huacachina Lake is home to several nice hotels and restaurants, if downtown Ica is too noisy.
