Climate, peak seasons, Holidays and festivals
Huacachina’s climate is much like that of the city of Ica. Expect clear skies day and night with plenty of sun and star shine. Daytime temperatures can reach to 32°C (89°F) and nighttime to 9°C (49°F). The hottest months are during summer, December through March. Many Peruvians vacation here in those months, as well as Fiestas Patrias (end July).
The last weekend of March, the oasis celebrates the Festival Internacional de la Sirena de Huacachina, held in conjunction with Ica’s Festival de la Vendimia.
