Cultural Tour
Two nearby wineries Bodega El Catador and Vista Alegre provide the chance to sample Peruvian spirits of the earthly kind. Piscos, being the national drink, are in abundance, but the local wines are tasty as well. A tour of each winery is also part of the deal.
Getting There
Bodega El Catador is some 10km north of Ica. Small vans leave for that direction from the street Moquegua before noon, and from Loreto after. Vista Alegre is a mere 3km northeast of town. It´s best to take a taxi there.
