Posada del Sol

Hotel Posada del Sol is a tall monument a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas and bus depots. The rooms are very large, bright and shiny clean. They all come with private, hot water baths and TV. Accommodations on the the fifth floor roof terrace have an added feature-spectacular views of the mountains and sand dunes surrounding Ica. The only disadvantage is Posada del Sol has no elevator—just a broad sweeping staircase to the upper floors. The street-side sign announces cheaper prices, but these are only for guests staying a month or more.
