Ask a Moqueguano where’s the best place to dive into a pizza, and most will respond: Casa Vieja. This homey restaurant serves up a baker’s dozen of pizzas, including a special vegetarian one, as well as a dozen varieties of pastas (try the fettuccini a la huancaina with beef medallions). The menu also offers sandwiches, salchipapas and choripapas (hotdog or sausage with french fries). The restaurant has a full bar and a nice selection of ice creams. The ambience is warm and intimate here, with the several dining spaces decked out in red-and-white-checkered cloths and lots of plants. Monday-Thursday 6-11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 6 p.m.-midnight.
