Asociación Sumac P’itay is a women’s collective in Samegua that create alpaca sweaters and other clothing. The main showroom is on Samegua’s plaza (Av Emancipación) or you may visit one of the women’s workshops (Ca Atahualpa F7A, Cel: 953-688-504). To get to Samegua, which is 10 kilometers (6 mi) from Moquegua, take a minibus for Samegua from Avenida Balta ($0.30).
