Around Nasca

Besides the enigmatic Nasca Lines, the area around Nasca, with its diverse, rugged countryside, has several other attractions that lure travelers into staying for a few extra days. Nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers have two nature reserves to visit, one in the Andean foothills and another on the coast. Those looking for something to really pump their blood can hit the world’s largest dune, Cerro Blanco, for some sandboarding, or zoom across the desert in a dune buggy.
