Restaurant Vía La Encantada does lead you to an enchanted land of international dishes with French and Thai flairs to Peruvian creativity and real “American” breakfast (complete with eggs scrambled with ham or bacon). The wicker-bamboo and brass furnishings, tables draped with Nasca-Line-weave cloths and a balcony add to the bewitchment of this pricey bistro—as does the torturously translated menu. Aside from some salads and pastas, vegetarians have few options here. Vía La Encantada serves authentic coffee and capuccino. Prices $3-13. Open daily 7 a.m. – midnight.
