Transportation
Most of the services and facilities that will be of interest to tourists are within walking distance of each other, including the major bus terminals. This makes getting around Nazco a cinch for newcomers. It also means you don’t have to rely heavily on local transportation to get around.
Upon arrival in Nazca you will likely be hounded by various agents promoting hotels, tours and restaurants, some of which may offer you a free ride downtown. The walk into town is less than 1 km so there is no need to take any of them up on their offer.
Plenty of taxistas will undoubtedly hound you but walking is easy and cheaper (not to mention it will save you the hassle of a taxi driver pushing a certain hotel).
Most of the tour operators are located within the downtown area and tours of the Nazca Lines the other attractions all leave within walking distance of the hotels.
