Getting to and Away

Most people visiting the Pisco area begin their trip in Lima. There is no airport in Pisco, so you will either have to drive, take a bus or hire a taxi out of Lima. Pisco is about 242 km south of Lima by way of the Pan-American Highway. You can expect the ride to take three and a half hours and cost between $4-8 USD per person.
The following bus companies that have diary regular service to Pisco: Ormeño, Royal Class service; Cruz del Sur, Crucero service and Soyuz / Peru Bus.
These two bus services tend to be good and dependable.
