Lodging options in Paracas tend to be from the mid to luxury ranges. Budget hostels a year after the tsunami are almost non-existent. Some inns continue to be booked by aid organizations. The less expensive hotels are located in the Playa Chaco district, near Plazuela Quiñónez. Ask if a cheaper price might be possible if you don’t receive breakfast. Prices are higher mid-December through March and for the Fiestas Patrias holidays. Some establishments further have a “European vacation” high season, lasting into September. For those travelers properly equipped, camping in the Reserva is the cheapest alternative.

Soon on the market will be a Hilton Hotel, near the entrance to Reserva Nacional de Paracas. (Unfortunately the construction of this lodge has displaced a flamingo colony.)
