Experience the nightime's billions of stars, the sound of the waves and the morning's flocks of birds while camping at Reserva Nacional de Paracas. It is available at the Interpretive Center (six kilometers / 3.5 miles from the garita), Lagunillas (six kilometers / 3.5 miles from the control post) and at Playa Yumaque (10 kilometers / 6 miles). No camping gear available to rent, including food, drink and stove, since open fires are not allowed.

Getting There:
If you are not in your own vehicle, you can still get to the Centro de Interpretación and Lagunillas on your own. if you are ready to hike in along the road. Take a Chaco-Paracas combi as far as the new Hilton Hotel (tell the driver to let you off there; $1 from Pisco, $0.50 from Playa Chaco), then walk the destroyed road up to the garita. From there you will have to walk along the roads to the campsites.
