Transportation
The port of Paracas and the Reserva Nacional de Paracas, situated five kilometers south of Pisco on the Pacific coast, is unfortunately not frequented by a regular bus service. However, the company Ormeño runs a limited service from Nazca or Lima to the Hotel Paracas, so check at the bus terminal. Most travelers will have to pass through the town of Pisco first. From Pisco´s Plaza de Armas, grab a combi and take in views of the sea along the coastal highway connecting Pisco to Paracas at El Chaco Beach. Taxis cost roughly 10 soles. Tours bought in Pisco will include transportation to Lagunilla Beach, the launching point for all boat tours to the Islas Ballestas.
