Climate, peak seasons
The best months to visit Paracas are from mid-December through March. The days are hot, the skies clear and the sea warm enough for modest bathing. This is also a popular time for vacationing Peruvians to come to see the local wildlife. Prices rise accordingly. Another high season is during the Fiestas Patrias from the end of July into the beginning of August. Some hotel and tour operators also claim there is an additional European high season during August, September and other months and raise prices. From April to December, days are cloudy with clear, cold nights and misty dawns.
