Climate, peak seasons, Holidays and festivals
Pisco has a dry climate. The best weather comes with summer, mid-December to March. Skies are clear and temperatures warm day and night. August is windy, whipping up the sandy soil into dust devils.
The first week of September, Pisco marks the Expedición Libertadora del General José de San Martín, which commemorates the launch of the Liberator's fight.
