Like a Phoenix rising out of the rubble of the devastating 2007 earthquake, El Dorado has reopened its doors with larger facilities. The bistro is a bit fancier than in its pre-earthquake incarnation. Now inside seating is at cloth-covered tables beneath chandeliers. On the back patio is a slightly more informal arrangement, beneath broad umbrellas. El Dorado still serves the delicious Peruvian food it has always been known for and moderate prices. Lunch special costs $2.70-3; à la carte entrées $2.70-10.70. Open daily 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
