By Lorraine Caputo

Hostal Inclán is popular with Chilean bargain hunters. It’s a perfect place for budget travelers, too, looking to spend a day or two in Tacna. A half-block from the Plaza de Armas and four from the train station, the hotel is close to many of the city’s main attractions. Single bathless rooms are on the small size, sharing common baths that are as large as the sleeping room. Those accommodations with private bath as well have cable TV. These are very spacious. All may be a bit worn in this five-story hostel, but it is clean.
