Out of town, head to Hotel Carlos Gardel for luxury, or opt for tranquillity at Camping Iporá. Free camping is allowed for a couple of days at Laguna de las Lavenderas, but for La Patria Gaucha, you’ll need to book and pay for a spot (from $20) at the festival’s website: patriagaucha.com.uy.
