Located in a 19th century building just 700 meters from the port, where high-ceilinged rooms are illumined by skylight windows, El Viajero Hostel is as quaint as the city of its residence. The living room is warmed by a fireplace for cold nights. Hot days can be spent basking on the sun-deck. Guests have access to a full kitchen, wi-fi and an on-site bar. Go the extra mile and pamper yourself by renting one of the private suites with cable TV and DVD. Explore the city by arranging horseback riding or renting bikes from the staff. Or wander on foot—the hostel is just outside the historic center of Colonia.

Don´t bother
0%Would not recommend this place, mainly due to the staff being very unfriendly and unhelpful. Tried to rip us off by charging us twice. Bathroom got flooded every time the shower was turned on. There are plenty of other places in Colonia
