Sandboarding Down The Dunes - Beach Cabo Polonio - Uruguay

If you fancy a change from surfing, or else you prefer to stay dry, another thrilling and popular option is to rent a sandboard and ride it down the dunes. Escuela Surf (Cel: 099-612-962) on the plaza rents boards for two-hour slots and can demonstrate the best positioning. After that, it is simply down to you to head to the dunes, get on and ride down. For the fastest ride, head to the third dune, as it is the tallest and steepest.
