It is possible to visit Cabo Polonio on a one-day tour from Punta del Este or Punta del Diablo. In the former, many agencies offer similar trips, so it’s best to ask your hotel for recommendations. From Punta del Diablo, El Diablo Tranquilo offers good weekly trips. If you are staying in Cabo Polonio, use the Informes office for a list of walking trails that can be done either alone or with a guide that they can organize (from $5).
