Considering its size, Punta del Diablo has a surprising variety of good places to shop. Feria de los Artesanos has beautiful handicrafts, only slightly upstaged by those in the year-round stores at Paseo del Rivero. The latter also has a good surf shop, Tropico, with another branch on Avenida de los Pescadores. Hongo has hand-made clothing by 10 ‘artesanos’, while Cruz Diablo sells wall hangings and jewelry by another three; both open until 1 a.m. in summer. Studio Casero houses a heavenly selection of liquors and oils. A handful of English novels can be found cheaply on the road toward the Feria.
