Feria Artesanal - Market Punta del Este - Uruguay
Spend an afternoon wandering around the Feria Artesanal or Craft Market on Plaza Artigas, where one can find all sorts of artesanÃas ranging from leather goods to jewelry and other keepsakes. The feria, open since 1967, has over 200 stands and becomes busiest in the evening. Artists and caricaturists also set up shop on the plaza in hopes of selling their work to vacation beachgoers. Open only on the weekends.
