Isla de Lobos - Other Activity Punta del Este - Uruguay

Hosting one of the largest sea-lion colonies in South America, Isla de Lobos makes for a great escape from the tightly-packed beaches of Punta del Este. The island is home to 180,000 sea lions and walruses, which are spread over a surface area of 41 hectares. The island is close to the shore and makes for a short trip. Some tours will even allow you to swim or dive among the sea lions.
