La Lupita is the closest you’ll get to authentic Mexican food in Montevideo. Here, tortillas are made from scratch with corn instead of wheat. What the food lacks in genuine spiciness, the restaurant makes up for in charm and drink offerings, including several kinds of Mexican beer not available elsewhere.
