Set in a former recording studio, with some of the rooms still featuring sound-proof foam padding, Pocitos’ best-value hostel has clean bathrooms, a decent breakfast and a lively bar. There are comfy common areas and a pleasant outside space, but new kitchen equipment is required. The choice of four- to eight-bed dorms and twin rooms are pretty spacious, and have big lockers big. It can get noisy at night, though, so avoid here if you’re not into that sort of thing. Unplugged Hostel is also part of Hostelling International.
