Pulpería de los Faroles - Restaurant Colonia del Sacramento - Uruguay

In this colonial building, originally a bakery, the Pulpería de los Faroles was the first restaurant to cater to tourists in the Historic Quarter in the 80s. The menu ranges from the typical parilla and meat options, to tasty pastas and abundant seafood choices, including salmon and codfish with a selection of sauces like the enticing black butter and capers sauce. Despite its selection of very sophisticated dishes, La Pulpería de los Faroles also offers a Kiddie Menu with classics like hamburgers and hot dogs. Dine inside the old colonial building or outside directly in the cobblestone street. Open noon-3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.-closing.
