Hotel Del Prado - Hotel Nueva Helvecia - Uruguay

In 1886, one of the first breweries in the country became the Hotel del Prado. In the 1950s, it was turned over to a religious congregation, whose chapel is still open on the ground floor - something you'd never expect in a hotel. The current proprietors have run the hotel for over three decades and deliver a friendly service. All of the singles, doubles and triples have air conditioning and cable TV, and there's WiFi throughout the hotel. Hotel del Prado’s crowning glory is without a doubt its lush greenery and well-kept grounds, complete with swimming pool.
