Museo Municipal “prof. Lucas Roselli” - Museum Nueva Palmira - Uruguay

On October 2, 1984, this municipal museum opened its doors to display the collection of fossils and archeological artifacts that had been gathered and donated by the museum director himself, Professor Lucas Roselli. Five years later, shortly after Roselli’s death, the museum was officially named after him. An impressive display for a town so small, some of the museum’s highlights are the skeleton of an indigenous man and the exhibit of unique indigenous ceramic pieces.
