V!VA User‘s Description

This groovy restaurant has been a Mérida institution for years. La Abadia serves up some of the best steak, salads and pasta in town, and you get a half hour internet use thrown in. With three floors of funky Colonial decoration, the theme is very Catholic. The bar serves up mean cocktails, and is a good place to meet people. Its sister restaurant is La Abadía Del Angel.
