  • Travel philosophy

No matter what I will definitely be somewhere tonight (it could be the gutter of the Hilton).

The best travel plan is to have no plan.

“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

    - Saint Augustine

  • Craziest place

Hmmm, too many, so here's the top three,

    1) Matse Indian tribe in the Amazon

    2) Calcutta in the middle of the Festival of Colours

    3) Diving with Minki Whales on the Great Barrier Reef

  • Bizarre experience

Being initiated with frog poison by the chief of the Matse Indians in the Amazon Jungle at the source of the Amazon River.

  • Advice

Don't hesitate, don't worry, be a little irresponsible and just go. Take a gap year (or ten) whether you are 18 or 80 and remember my above travel philosophy. If its in your blood, do it, life is too short not too.
