Allen makes his home in the spectacular Pacific Northwest. His first loves include spending time in the outdoors, discovering great new (to him) writers, and writing about places that fascinate him. In addition to travel writing, he writes fiction, primarily set in Mexico. He has retired from a career in Marketing Management, is a member of Paciific Northwest Writer's Association, and spends much of his spare time volunteering teaching ESL for a Latino Community Center.
