A secret adventurer who has yet to let his true explorative side take over...until now...I`m patient, considerate and a zestful sponge for knowledge.

  • Hometown

    Victoria B.C. Canada

  • Work published

Apart from writing in my school newspaper back in the 80`s, my thoughts, letters and inuendos have been only published via letters to family and friends...ahh, but the day is young.

  • Travel philosophy

Stay off the beaten track and learn what the country is really like.

  • Craziest place

Jinan, in the Shangdong Province of China. We toured a maximum security prison where all inmates were murderers and state offenders. I played basketball with the inmates and ping pong with the Warden.

  • Bizarre experience

As a new traveller and beginning adventure seeker/writer, my most memorable experience has to be a week spent on a tradition chinese commune. No running water, electricity, no toilets. Very simple huts, but being hosted by the kindest people I`d ever met. Some had never seen a white person before.

  • Advice

Use all 5 of your senses in regards to everything. Always use caution and be overly respectful to new cultures and ways of doing things. Be patient and don`t take unneeded risks.

  • Dream destination

La Paz, Bolivia. Tierra Del Fuego..and Soldier field in Chicago to see my Bears

  • Traveled before

My travels have taken me through most of the Western United States, Canada, Wales, the United Kingdom and Spain.

  • Going next

Hopefully to a writers boot camp in Guatemala, but if not our plan is Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, Peru, Equador, Chilli.
