The new and the adventurous sets my soul afire.
I haven't visited anywhere that I would define as "crazy" yet; only Costa Rica, Mexico, Bahamas, Italy, Austria, Hungary, and England. However, I have been on many crazy adventures in each of the aforementioned countries. For instance, in 2005 I sailed to a remote no-name island in Mexico and snorkeled in an area where the water was extremely rough. There alone, the waves pushed us down on to rocks which were covered in sea urchins. The sea urchins were not poisonous, but they managed to stab us all over our bodies. In the midst of trying to get out of this death trap I spotted a nurse shark only feet away, which no doubt was drawn to us by the smell of blood in the water surrounding us. Swallowing water, and ignoring the pain from the broken sea urchin spikes in our bodies, we made a very narrow escape.
I drank an endangered sea turtle egg in Costa Rica.
Traveling is more enriching when you walk the unbeaten path, but be safe enough so you will be able walk again another day.
Every country that I haven't visited.
