Lake Atitlan Tours and Travel Services

We started Grow Your Own Cure with the belief that other travelers share our desire to experience authentic adventures by immersing ourselves in the life of a region, exploring hidden corners, and partaking and appreciating local culture. Grow Your Own Cure is, at its heart, a way of connecting more authentically with the world.

We promise to share our knowledge and expertise with you, and ensure you will return home with stories you will tell for years to come.

At Grow Your Own Cure we are so thankful to our guests who allow us to keep doing what we love. Because of that your business is important to us and we want to ensure that every aspect of your Grow Your Own Cure tour is a truly memorable experience that you will talk about for years to come.

We offer a wide variety of different tours to suit both novices and experienced travelers. Whether you have two days or two weeks to spend in Lake Atitlan Guatemala, we can tailor your tour to suit your needs and desires. We take guests to unspoiled areas with the ever present, panoramic Lake Atitlan mountains and volcanoes surrounding you. The narrow mountain paths take you through dense forests, terraced fields, lush valleys, and quaint villages.

Yet the magic of this country does not solely lie in the majesty of her mountains and volcanoes or the mystery of her ruins rather it is shared with the warmth of the people and their dedication to tradition.

  • Travel philosophy

When was the last time that you did something for the first time?

  • Craziest place

    Livingston, Guatemala

  • Bizarre experience

Eating tripe soup in Guatemala. For those of you who don't know what tripe is it's cow intestines. Yuk! Not only does the mental image of cow intestines make me want to vomit, the smell was even worse.

  • Advice

Say yes. Yes can bring you down the path of discovery because if you say no you don’t even begin the journey.
