My restless spirit has kept me on the move for the past few years, and I've seen a lot of great places and things because of it. But now I'm ready to try something truly different--settling down for a bit!

  • Hometown

    Volcano, Hawaii, U.S.A.

  • Location now

    Quito, Ecuador

  • Work published

My work hasn't been previously published.

  • Travel philosophy

Eat as much as possible--tasting the regional specialties is my favorite part of traveling!

  • Craziest place

Witches Market, La Paz, Bolivia. Dried llama fetuses anyone?

  • Bizarre experience

Moving to a village in Hawaii when I was a kid. That was the biggest culture shock I've ever experienced.

  • Advice

Take in everything--the good AND the bad.

  • Dream destination

I've love to do a Portugal / Spain / France mission. Cambodia has been striking my fancy lately, as well as Mexico and Cuba.

  • Traveled before

Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, and Bolivia. Also Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the U.K.

  • Going next

    Back to Buenos Aires!
