By trade, I am a writer/editor/journalist. I have a degree in Spanish and a degree in magazine journalism, from what calls itself the oldest journalism school in the world - University of Missouri. I am happiest when traveling, drinking good beer, eating, learning something interesting and combining all of these and writing about them

  • Travel philosophy

I like to live by the "why not" style of life. This is great to apply to traveling around the world, and not questioning - for more than a few seconds - what you put in your mouth. My latest goal is to travel around the world and see as many species of whales as possible, and then write about it, of course.
