V!VA List Terms and Conditions

Viva List

When you submit your V!VA List stories and photos, you will be required to check boxes that indicate that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions. You agree that the content is your own work, not copyrighted by any other entity, and that you grant Viva Publishing Network permission to publish submitted content. You agree that Viva Publishing Network shall have an unlimited right to reproduce, re-use, perform, and create derivative works from your content.

Royalties will be paid only to those writers whose work is published in the book. Royalties of 20% of net proceeds will be distributed between all of the writers that are published in the book proportionately to percentage of their contributions within the book. Each piece of writing and each photograph counts as one element. For example, if there are 1000 elements within the book (500 pieces of writing, each with their own photograph). If a writer submitted 5 pieces of writing, each with a photograph, all of which were published, they would be entitled to a 1% share of the royalties. Royalties will be paid quarterly and will be paid once $100 is accumulated. Royalties will only be applicable for printed books, not electronic media. Royalties will only be paid whilst the copyright is held by Viva Publishing Network. You further agree that in order to receive royalties you must complete and return the appropriate tax paperwork which will be sent to you once your work has been submitted.

Viva Publishing Network shall have the right to amend this agreement. You agree to the terms of the most current edition of the agreement, and you agree that you shall be responsible for periodically checking for updates to the agreement.
