V!VA Voices – Tips from a travel writing pro

You may be asking yourself, who is V!VA Travel Guides anyway? Well, we’re the site formerly known as L!VE Travel Guides. We’ve changed our name and our look, but we´re still the most up-to-date, useful travel website about Latin America.

The monthly V!VA Voices newsletter will keep you updated with the goings-on at V!VA Travel Guides. New hotel, restaurant and activity information is being added daily by the V!VA Travel Guides community and V!VA Voices will highlight the newest and most exciting destinations.

In the coming months, the newsletter will be tailored to members’ specific interests, and V!VA members will be able to select what type of content they would like to receive.

As not all V!VA members will not always be planning a trip, the newsletters will also include general interest articles like as the Tim Nolan interview in this edition. While V!VA Travel Guides strives to provide travelers with the most up-to-date information for current or future trips, V!VA Voices will be a mixture of travel advice and fresh, fun articles for those without a trip in the works.

Pirated? Nope. This museum is one of a kind.

Avast ye, scurvy dogs! In Latin America, a museum can spring up from anywhere – an old fish market, a former natural medicine garden or a regular hole thought to be a former hiding place for pirate booty. Morgan’s Cave Museum in San Andrés, Columbia fills the bill for the latter.
