There are many ways to get involved with V!VA. Here are just a few:
First, you can create an account, and add your profile. That way, everything you write while logged in is credited to you.
Learn to travel write and get published!
Attend one of V!VA's boot camps in 2010. You'll learn from the experts how to write guidebooks, get practical experience and if you're good, get paid freelance assignments after the course.
Upcoming boot camps dates are:
Ecuador: January 4-8
Peru: January 18-22
At the camps, students hit the ground running with daily assignments and have their work critiqued by seasoned professionals. This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers to gain hands-on travel writing skills and experience and get paid!
Those who stay on assignment as field writers will get their works published in upcoming guidebooks. Those who produce more than 200 reviews will have their course fee refunded in addition to normal compensation.
